Long weekened

Enjoying this long weekened.  The kids had Friday off because of conferences.   I'm very proud of them as they are doing great!  Chase has really become such a good student and Cambria is just  the hardest worker and has really come a long way this year!

The kids have so much energy!  Chase for example had 2 basketball games today, an afternoon of bowling for a birthday party and then headed to watch a hockey game with his Dad this evening!

The girls and I are home popping popcorn and watching a movie together!   Enjoyable and RELAXING!

January 2010 Review

I saw this idea somewhere and thought it would be fun.  For each month of the year pick 12 photos (yes, I added a middle pic for 13) from that month.   It will be fun to look back on things you've done though the year and also see the changes in the kids thoughout the year.   I just put in a few cute pics I took this month of the kids.  Also, included pictures from Rose Bowl day, Ryan's birthday, items from my etsy shop that I just opened this month, Chase and dad at B-ball, the book I'm reading, Delaney's FM photo shoot and 1st haircut...

Paper flowers

Had fun playing around and making these paper flowers.  This is a pretty picture of my daughter wearing a headband that I made.  I use this Martha Stewart butterfly punch all the time.

Feel Better

Yes, another Pure Innocence stamp.  Looks like I may be a little addicted to these but, aren't they just too cute! LOL.  I think this is such a cute get well card.  I paper pierced the umbrella and boots, used my Martha Stewart punch, added some stickles to the rain drops (hard to see), jewel embellishments and ribbon.

Washer Necklaces

I've been having fun making these adorable washer necklaces!  They are cute, easy and fun!  I'm thinking they would make cute little gifts for the girls friends and I've even been sporting them myself!  I just listed one on my etsy store and I'll add some more soon! TFL.

New Camera!!!

I've been having so much fun taking pictures with the new camera I got for Christmas!  It's a Nikon D3000.  I really haven't had a chance to learn too much about it yet but, it takes great clear shots with just the auto mode.  Here are a few of the kids...

Time for Fun

I don't do as many boy cards but, I thought this image from The Greeting Farm was awfully cute!

The Greeting Farm

Just received my order from The Greeting Farm.  They have such cute stamps and I've been eyeing them for awhile now.  This one is call "Laundry".  I can certainly relate!   The laundry never stops around here with a family of five!
I used paper from My Minds Eye, ribbon, twine, button and my new MS heart punch (hard to see from the picture).     Off to start some more laundry! (=

Basketball game

 Chase had a basketball game
this weekened.  They didn't
win but, it was a hard fought
game.  They are very scrappy!
He seems to be having a lot
of fun this season - great coaching
and a fun group of boys!  That's the
important thing!  Way to go Chase!

Super kid

Here is a layout I made today of Chase.  I haven't done any scrapbooking for awhile now.  I think it turned out cute!  I used papers and embellishments from Sassafras Lass (Monsterous).   He really is a SUPER KID!!!!!!

Brownies

The girls and I made some brownies this afternoon!  I'm not sure if they liked licking the bowl or eating the brownies more!  I think it's a toss up! (=    Always fun to bake with the girls!  They turned out YUMMY!!

Delaney at her photo shoot!

Here is Delaney at her photo shoot for Fred Meyer.  She just did her first one last week and this is her second one.  She will be in the Fred Meyer ad's the middle and end of Febuary.  She is such a little poser and had so much fun with it!  The first shot we are arriving bright and early.  Then it's on to hair and a touch of make-up.  Fun for a little girl!  Then off to take photos!  Cute stuff!  Thanks Puddletown!

Birthday Girl

Love to have these birthday cards on hand.   This is an acrylic stamp I purchased from  My Favorite Things.    I tried watercoloring with a water color pen.  I could use some more practice but, I think it turned out cute!  I used papers from October Afternoon.  Another favorite of mine!

First Haircut

Delaney decided to give herself her 1st haircut! (this was actually a few weeks ago).  She calls me from upstairs and say's "Mom, I cut my hair short!"  So I race up the stairs and find bits of hair all over her floor around her little Mermaid vanity.  Lucky she has lots of curly hair and although I can certainly see her new haircut other people would probally not notice.  We did take her to have it trimmed by a professional!  I keep telling her only a "Professional" can cut your hair!  I have hidden all the scissors just in case!

Digi image

This is a digital image I got from Etsy.  This is a fun way to get all the images you like and not break the bank! (=  I used papers from October Afternoon and several different punches.  Added some twine, lace and buttons.  TFL.

My Etsy store

Well a new year and a new venture.  I've decided  to open an Etsy store.  If you haven't experienced Etsy yet, it is a wonderful online store with amazing handmade items.  They have so many  talented crafters, artists etc. on this site!  It's a must see!!   I will be adding things periodically to my store but, I've started with just a few of the crafty things I've been working on.   Painted wood signs, handmade cards, dry erase tiles, childrens fun accessories etc.  I hope you check it out!  There is a link on the left side to click on.  It will direct you to my store.  TFL!!!
