Here is a cute, clean and simple card using a stamp set from Paper Smooches called Healthy vibes.

Anyone else use Picnik for photo editing? I LOVE picnik and it's closing in April!!! )= So sad about that. Tonight it was giving me trouble and I couldn't even get anything to upload?? So does anyone have any suggestions on photo editing sites? I have photoshop elements, but I think I need a class because I just can't figure it out!

Mustache fun

I've been making signs, signs and more signs around here, but wanted to try something fun!!! I get so much inspiration from Pinterest. I'm pretty sure that is where I first saw these and now they are popping up everywhere. They are so fun and cute!!!

I bought the mustache images from the Silhouette store and cut them out on my machine using adhesive vinyl. The paper straws were a fun purchase I made. Thought they would be fun for the holidays!! (=

Stamping on canvas

I picked up a few canvas bags and thought they might be fun to try stamping on. I used stamps from Unity (the cute snowmen) PTI (the coffee cup) and Stampin Up (Santa). These are cute, fun and easy. I put a wood block inside the bag to stamp and color on. This way you get a clearer image and the copics didn't run through the fabric when coloring.

These are perfect for small gifts...

Coffee and or tea would be fun for the bag below.

Tile magnets

I haven't made these in awhile, but I had some 2x2 tiles on hand and thought they might make some cute gifts. Great for Grandparents! (=

I tried two different methods. The first was with tissue paper. You need to tape your tissue paper onto some cardstock and run it directly through your printer. Cut out your photos and apply with Mod Podge. When using Mod Podge and tissue paper you are going to get some wrinkles in the paper. So I thought I would also try it using just thin computer paper. This method is a little easier and you don't get the wrinkles you would with tissue paper.

It's hard to see the difference here, but the bottom one's were made using tissue paper.

Use a hotglue gun to apply the magnets!!!

I've been working with lots of wood and seeing lots of inspiration on pinterest. I decided to make these fun little wood pumpkins... I had the wood cut to different sizes, painted them and added a wine cork (painted brown) to the top. Finished them off with some rafia and ribbon. Simple and Cute!!! (=

Well I wanted to send in a little something for the girls teachers. Here is something I put together last minute! (= Simple and Cute... Just added some candycorn to some little jars. I then cut some vinyl out for the pumpkin faces. A little rafia and tag and you have a fun gift! TFL!

Unity Matching socks & Laundry Sign

I've had this cute stamp set laying around just waiting to be inked up! (= I thought it might be fun to create a little Art piece for the laundry room. I recently painted my laundry room grey with some yellow accents. Here is what I made. I started with an old frame...

Painted it yellow and added the grey dots with my Martha Stewart stencils. I stamped the socks on DP and cut them out.

LOVE the saying: Life is too short to match socks

Beach Jar and pics

We had a great weekend at the beach and the weather was fabulous!!! It's always nice to getaway for the weekend.

Here is a cute and simple project that could make a nice gift. I have lots of glass jars around here. Just add some sand and seashells, a photo from the beach, a little twine and you have a cute little Photo jar!! ( I also stamped family on a small piece of wood).

We have been super busy around here. I can hardly believe my kids will be heading back to school next week. We still have a lot to do before then!
Today we went to the State Fair with Grandma! Here are some fun pictures:

Lots of fun rides, yummy food and even walking on water. (see above pic) How cool is that!!!

This last weekened my mom took me to see the musical Mamma Mia!! It was fabulous. Thanks Mom!!!

And finally I'll be taking a few days off from the blog as we will be heading for a short camping trip before the kids head back to school.

I recenlty discoved the i heart faces blog. It's full of fun challenges and tutorials. Although I'm definiltly no professional I certainly enjoy photography. This weeks challenge is EYES. Here is a picture I took of Delaney.

I recently discoved Purple Onion designs and just received my first order. I had lots of fun creating with these fun stamps over the weekened. This first project was done on a piece of MDF board. It measures approx. 6x6. I used gesso and acrylic paints. I paper pieced some images and made this cute little scene.

Unity card and a Mosaic

Image and sentiment are from Unity's July KOM. I used my MS punch for the butterflies.

Sentiment reads: Love believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

And I was able to retrieve some of my photos from July as I had not yet deleted them from my camera! So here is my late July mosaic.

Unity KOM

Well I finally got around to playing with Unity's July KOM. So many CUTE images. This card was made with the flowers. They were stamped on fun polka dot cardstock and then cut out. I also used my Papertrey ink dies for the sentiment.

Bedroom Reveal

I've been slowly trying to do a few projects around the house this summer. One room that I've never painted or done much with was my bedroom. So with a super low budget I repuposed some old items and here's how it turned out.

I'm not completely done yet. I still have a few items I'd like to get. A new rug, lamps, blanket...but so far I'm very happy with how it turned out!!

The Love board was inspired by a project I saw on an awesome blog called House Tweaking. You should definitely check it out!!!

It's been a busy summer and I am finally getting my room put back together after painting. I'll post a few pics soon.
I'm still having problems recovering my photos, but at least I did print many of them. Although, I don't really know what I didn't have printed now. )=

Suprise! A Card!!

It's hard to believe I have a card to post! (= With summer and the kids being home, and lots of little projects around the house I haven't had much time to play with my stamps. I received this fun PI stamp awhile back and finally inked her up. I used my PTI dies and stamps for the tickets.

Finally getting things reloaded to the new computer. Photoshop, my Silhouette, Nikon misc...and still waiting to find out about my pictures.

I've been painting my bedroom these last few days. It feels so good to finally have that project ALMOST completed!! I still have a couple other small rooms I'd like to do. Canvas

WOW! It's been a really long time since I last posted. We finally got a new computer, but they are having trouble transfering my photos off the old hard drive. Seems it was starting to fail. We thought most of them were backed up on the external hard drive, but I'm learning that's not always the safest place to store your photos either. I think I'll be backing up all my photos to a flashdrive from now on. So I'm just praying I get them all back!!! How sad would that be. Don't want to think about it! )=

Anyway, here is a canvas I did. I was inspired by a Unity project I saw.
