More Pinwheels...

I had a very nice Birthday.  Ate way too much food, cake and ice-cream, but I guess that's what Birthday's are for!! (=   We watched the American Idol Finale last night.  Do you watch?  Who do you want to win?  I'll be happy either way, but my daughter REALLY wants Lauren to win! (=

Onto a little project with my new Pinwheel die.  LOVE these cute little pinwheels!!

And talking about gifts here is a gift I ordered for myself!! (=  It's a cute purse/camera bag from Jo Totes!

Happy Birthday

TO ME! (=  Yes, another year has gone by and I'm another year older.  I certainly do not feel my age, but it's hard to believe I'm ( I can hardly say it) 39.  O.K, now you know. LOL.  Time certainly does fly by when your having fun! (=

And finally here is a card I made. Sentiment reads Blowing you kisses.   Funny story...  I actually saw a giveaway on FB for these cute pinwheel dies.  I put down my name and went to the website lil inkers.  I just thought they were SO CUTE and had to get them.  So I just got my order in the mail and that same day I found out I won them.  REALLY???  I NEVER win anything!  I'm hoping they will swap them for their flag dies, but I'm not sure yet.  O Well.

Pallet LOVE

I've been seeing so many cool projects made from pallets recently.  Here are just a few:

I thought the planting idea looked cool so my husband put this together in our backyard...

The plants were just planted so I'm sure it will start to fill in soon.

I cannot take credit for any of it! (=  It would all be my husbands work.  He is the green thumb in the family.
I think my next pallet project may be a headboard.  I'm planning on painting my room (grey) in the next month or so and I'm thinking that might be a fun added touch!!!
