Summer is here and the kids are all out of school = less time for crafting! (= I am definitely enjoying the time with the kids, sleeping in a bit, and not running around as much! We had a fun outing to a small water park! The girls had a GREAT time!!!
I was over on the MFT blog and saw they had a fun challenge. Use either Cork and or felt. Well, I love both so I used BOTH!! (= The clouds and hearts are both made from felt and I cut the cork for the bottom (hill). I used another of my fav stamps from MFT! You can do so much with it!! TFL! (=
This layout I did of my daughter. She just turned 4 this month! I love the new Echo Park papers I found at my LSS. Just my style!! (= whatever that may be! LOL (= I used my pocket stamp from a past Unity KOM to add a few extra photos! TFL!
Here is a card I made using Sew Lovely by Lawn Fawn. I bought some seam binding and colored it with cherry blossom antiquing solution. I stamped the dress and then cut it out. I then took a piece of fabric and stamped the dress again and cut it out. You can't go wrong with Kraft paper! (=
So it's the last day of school for my kids today! The year really flew by. I have one heading to second grade and my son will be going to middle school next year! Scary!! I still can remember his first day of Kindergarden. We have both made so many great friendships along the way! It's a little sad!
I found these cute little glass light bulbs and knew they would make fun teacher gifts!! The flowers were made using various scraps of paper and punches!! TFL! (=
Here's another Pure Innocence cutie! I know I've got a little addiction with these! (= I made this card for two seperate challenges. One at TPE - Color red, scallops and a bow. I also used the sketch from CPS. More October Afternoon DP which I can't seem to stop using!! (=
I just received my first Lawn fawn sets. I couldn't hold off any longer. LOL! (= I thought these images and sentiments would make GREAT clean and simple cards. I also thought this would be a great set to make something for the teachers.
The end of the school year is fast approaching! Thought I should work on a few teacher cards! More of these cute Pure Innocence images! Also, more October Afternoon Papers and some seam binding!!! TFL!
We celebrated Delaney's 4th Birthday with her friends on Saturday at Sweetest Thing Cupcakes! The girls had a GREAT time! They had dress up princess accessories for the girls, small sandwiches with strawberries, pretzels and juice. They got to do a fun craft and have their faces painted! The best part was decorating delicious CUPCAKES!!! So much fun!!! So glad her friends were able to come and celebrate with us!!
I did this layout for Sketchy Thursdays! It looked like a fun layout to work with. Sometimes it seems harder to work with a sketch but, it did come together O.K. I used some rub ons that say: sugar and spice and every thing nice. Thats what little girls are made of...
Had to put in a quick card! I found this stamp on Clearance at Craft Warhouse and can't pass up a good deal! (= Hope everyone has a GREAT Friday!!! Thanks for stopping by! (=
Just a little something different today. I love paper crafting and I also like to dabble in other craft projects. I don't sew but, I LOVE fabric! (= So what can you do with fabric if you don't sew?? Well you can make fabric flowers! There are so many great tutorials out there right now on flowers! These were just made with fabric, felt and my cuttlebug! With 2 girls it's always fun to make girly things!!
My baby girl is turning 4 today!! It doesn't seem like so long ago that we were bringing you home from the hospital. I can't believe how fast those first few years fly by. You bring so much joy and laughter to our family! We love you! Happy Birthday my sweet girl!!!
