Canvas Art and fun at the fair!

Here is an 8"x10" canvas I made using a mix of paints, sprays, stamps, stencils etc..  The cute little frog, mushroom and snail are stamps from Purple Onion Designs. 

 

Yesterday we spent a fun day at the State Fair with Grandma!!!  LOTS of fun rides, walking on water (in balls), Zip lining, Go kart racing, lots of yummy food...

New sign

Here is a sign I recently added to my store.  It measures approx 7" x 24" and reads: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.  This has always been a favorite quote of mine! 

Just a cute and simple little tag.  Smile... You make my life brighter.  The sun was cut out using my silhouette machine and the words were stamped using Paper Smooches Giddy Bugs.

Home is where your story begins

Here is another fun 8 x 10" canvas.  I love using a mix of paints, sprays, inks...  I stamped "Home is where your story begins".  It is a Unity stamp I've had for quite awhile.  I also added a flower stamp from Unity Insightful Meadows.  I paper pieced some fun clouds, added some hearts and twine.

Owl Canvas

Here is the latest canvas I made using a new owl die that I purchased.  I just love owls! (=   I made the branch by tearing a piece of paper and stamping it with a wood grain stamp.  I then went over it with some distress ink.  The background was made using a variety of stamps and stencils.  I used mostly Crafters Workshop stencils and a few Unity stamps.  The flowers at the bottom were stamped using "Insightful Meadows" by Unity.

Home Sweet Home

Here is a cute tag I made using my Purple Onion Design stamps.  I used Tim Holtz distress stains for the background and crackle paint on the clouds for some added texture.
