May photo mosaic and Thank you

Here is a Thank you card I made using some past Unity Kit of the month stamps!   I was also using my new jumbo scallop die from MFT and my new butterfly die from Papertrey Ink.  Love there felt also!!

Here are some random pics I have from the month of May.  I've done one of these for every month this year.  Thought it would be fun to have printed at the end of the year and put into a book!  TFL!! (=

I just received another Adorable Pure Innocence stamp!  I can't seem to resist them! LOL. (=   They are just soooooooo CUTE and I LOVE CUTE! (=   I also just got my jumbo scallop die! TPE - Color Challenge

It's a color challenge over at The Pink Elephant and the color is Orange!  I love orange and pink especially!! (=  You can now get these adorable Lollipop stamps in digital at DCRU!!  Love them!!  It's hard to see from the picture but, I used my new MS border butterfly punch!  TFL!! (=

Time with Grandma

We enjoyed some time with Grandma on Friday!  She came up to celebrate my early Birthday with me and the kids.  Had a Fabulous time shopping and a wonderful lunch!  Thanks so much Mom!!!

Scrap it with a song challenge - Love Story

This is for the Scrap it with a song challenge.  This weeks song is Love Story by Taylor Swift.  I'm so used to scrapping about my kids.  I thought it might be fun to do a wedding page.  I don't think I've ever scrapped any photos of my wedding.  I actually didn't start scrapbooking until after my son was born.  This was a fun challenge! Wow, we look young! We were young! LOL! (=

The end of the year for Preschool

It's the end of the year for Delaney's Preschool.  WOW, that year just flew by.  She loved Preschool.  She had such a GREAT year and made many new friends.  Here is a little gift we made for her special teachers. The tag reads: Thank you for helping me to grow.

The Pink Elephant challenge - Pretty as a Princess

This week at The Pink Elephant there is a a color challenge and the color is PINK!

With two little girls I have plenty of pink around here! (=  Check it out at http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/

I started by using my walnut spray ink in cherry blossom for the background.  The background paper is Ocbober Afternoon.  I used Thickers and tiny alpha stickers.  The larger flower was made with alternating punches.  I loved how the lace flower came together.  It was just some old white lace I had laying around.  I sprayed it with my cherry blossom ink and glued and twisted it into shape!  Finally I did some distressing around the edges! The picture is one of my sweet little girls! (=  TFL!!

Scrap it with a song

I was invited to check out http://scrapitwithasong.blogspot.com/ The scrapbook layouts are based on a song.  This week is Cyndi Laupers True Colors.  How fun is that!!  I knew exactly what DP I would use as soon as I read it!  I took some lyrics out of the song - Beautiful, like a rainbow. TFL!

Miss You Much

Love this sweet little Jolinne stamp from MFT.  Used more of my October Afternoon DP!  Paper pieced the bottom suitcase and dress.

Here are two very clean and simple baby cards.  The clothes hanger stamp is from A Muse and the sentiments are from SU. 

  I made these wood signs last week.  They are for some baby showers!

I used this cute Pure Innocence image.  My other fav right now is October Afternoon DP.  Fly a Kite and Thrift Shop.  LOVE it!!  Paper pieced her boots and umbrella.  The flower was made using a cuttlebug flower die cut.  Finished it off with some twine and pearl embellishments!

Happy Mothers Day!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Mothers Day.  I have the sweetest family.  I woke up to many fun gifts.  I love the adorable art work and poems from the kids.  My son says - If I could give my mom anything, I'd give her... a super deluxe  combo crafting kit.  My daughter Cambria is so sweet.  She made me lots of beautiful artwork and also a necklace. She wrote my mom is beautiful because of her smile. (=   My 3yr old drew a picture of me (in the bottom right corner).  LOVE it!!  My husband made breakfast and gave me some beautiful flowers.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Here is a simple gift idea for teachers.  I used Clear Dollar Stamps set "Teacher Treats".  The sentiment says: My teacher is Mounds of fun!  I filled these cute little bags with mounds bars!  (gave these to my daughters pre-school teachers)

Teacher Appreciation week - Real Smartie

Here's a fun, cute and affordable gift for teachers.  I found these little glass jars at Michaels.  Filled them with smarties candies.  Typed up the phrase: Because of you I am a real Smartie!  Attached them with some ribbon and added a wooden apple to the top of the jar!

April review...

WOW! What happened to April.  I can't believe it is May already!  I need to wrap up the month  - Every month I'm doing a photo mosaic.  Just picking out fun pics from the month.  This month includes a picture of our ski trip, Easter, a day at the zoo, the tulip festival and just various cute pics from the month of April.

Delaney's preschool class had a field trip to the zoo this week.  The rain held off and we had a good time!
