Creating yourself

Inspiration to make this card is from Pinterest.  The sentiment: Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself is from Unity.  Very clean and simple.  I used ink and blending foam.

Dance Recital

BUSY Week!!!

Well it's been a crazy busy week around here and I haven't had a moment to sit down and make anything. )=
We have been doing Vacation Bible School, Basketball camp, swim lessons for both girls (at diff. times) etc. Throw in a new puppy and a husband who has been out of town all week and you have one tired Mom!   What happened to the lazy day's of summer??  I do have a few pics from the week!

We got a small fire pit for the backyard.  We made some smores last night!! YUMMY!

Birds nest necklace

I saw this necklace tutorial a few days ago.  It was super cute and easy!  I had what I needed on hand.  Beading wire and beads.  Just string on the beads and twist the wire around...  I know I wrote the source down, but cannot find it at the moment!  If you know it please let me know and I'll post it! End of year teacher gifts

Thursday is the last day of school for the kids.  Here is a gift I put together for my daughters teacher.  I started with a beach bag.  I added a beach towel, Magazine, Dasani Water, Sunscrean and Aloe Vera.  I tied a small shovel on the outside filled it with swedish fish and typed: Hope you DIG your summer!

And another small gift is this little container filled with Smarties candies.  The tag reads: Thanks for making me so smartie.  (I've done these in the past). Cute, fun, easy and affordable! (=

Clean and simple...

So much going on these days!! The kids are just about done with school.  I'm  really hoping for a relaxing summer and spending a little more time crafting.  Fingers crossed! (=  I also have a few projects I'd like to get done around the house.  The kids will still keep busy with basketball camp, Vacation Bible Schools, swimming lessons etc and before we know it August will be here and the girls will be starting Cheer and Soccer!!   Summers fly by all too fast!!
Here is a very clean and simple card using my A Muse stamps.  I paired the cute little beach bag with the sentiment: sending you sunshine.   

And our neighbors daughter graduated on Friday.  Here is a simple card with the cap cut from my silhouette machine.

Some exciting news at our house!

We are the proud owners of a sweet little puppy!!! (=  Yep, she's a little thing!! We've been holding off on getting a dog for awhile now , but I knew it would happen.  The kids were so excited.  It's kinda like having a new baby in the house! hehe (=   We named her Sadie!

And last, but not least a cool picture I took.  We were heading out to see the puppy and we passed this small carnival.  I grabbed my camera as we were driving past and got this picture!!

And here is Cambria with her friends.  They were in the school talent show.  So proud of them.  It takes lots of courage to get up in front of all those people! Good job girls!!! (=

Just wanted to say "Happy Birthday" to my sweet little Laney who is turning 5 today.  Here are some more little pinwheels that I made up as party favors.
